ABOUT ME
Being an Audio Engineer, Musician, and Educator
Hi, I’m Beau Barber, an audio engineer, producer, and educator based in Central Pennsylvania. My journey into audio engineering started when I was playing in a band and bought recording equipment to capture our music. That spark turned into a career—first teaching others how to record, and then constantly refining my skills as both an engineer and an educator.
I specialize in recording, producing, and mixing, working primarily with genres like rock, folk, blues, alternative, and country. My go-to DAW is Logic Pro because of its speed and flexibility, but I also work confidently in Luna, Pro Tools, and other platforms depending on the project. Over the past 12 years, I’ve taught students the craft of recording while continuing my own studies in music technology at Lebanon Valley College and Southern Utah University.
My philosophy is simple: I see audio engineering as a service. My role is to help artists bring the sound in their heads to life. That means listening closely, understanding their vision, and making sure the final product reflects their artistry—not mine.
Whether you need remote recording, in-studio tracking, mixing, or production support, my goal is to create a smooth, collaborative process that leaves you inspired and satisfied with the end result.
